Tips for Making Perfect Coffee Creamer

 

  1. Use boxed coconut milk:  I prefer boxed coconut milk for this recipe since canned coconut has a metallic taste to it.

Q:  My coffee creamer thickened in the refrigerator.  How can I thin it out? 

A:  To thin out the coffee creamer, warm it in a microwave for 15 seconds at a time, stirring it until smooth.

INGREDIENTS

 

420g regular coconut milk (I use boxed Aroy-D original coconut milk), at room temperature

2 tablespoons raw honey

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

 

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS

 

  1. Combine the coconut milk, honey and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.  Whisk until blended.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to use.

 

 

Yields 1 1/2 cups
